Every year, we say goodbye to our graduating UW-WE members with tearful eyes but hearts full of joy. This year, we send well wishes off with four members of the Women in Econ Executive Board: Lindsey Jacques (President), Alexa Friedman (Vice President), Sara Tabatabai (Secretary) and Grace Miller (Social Events Chair). Throughout the last four years, they have inspired and empowered us, brought us through tough times with their skillful leadership, and made a powerful impact on UW-Madison's community of female economists.

Bright futures lie ahead for all four of these UW-WE alumni. Lindsey Jacques, an Economics & Environmental Studies major, has been accepted to the University of San Diego Law School, and hopes to one day practice environmental law. Alexa heads off to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where she will work as a Product Management Development Program Analyst for PNC. Sara is passionate about economic research, and is currently interviewing for several research assistant positions. Grace, our Economics and English major, leaves for San Francisco to work as a publishing assistant.

Although their roads diverge, we will always remember the bright, supportive faces of our graduating seniors. Thank you to Lindsey for her fearless leadership in the face of any challenge, to Alexa for her comedic relief and incredible problem-solving skills, to Sara for her calm, sweet, and honest demeanor, and to Grace for her empathy and ability to make everyone feel loved and included. We will miss them, but cannot wait to watch them change the world!
